I am beyond nervous when it comes to dentists and this practice is brilliant. All the way from booking the staff have been thoughtful, attentive and responsive. Dr Panchal and nurse Eva were clear, kind and patient with me despite how scared I was and allowed me to take my time. There was absolutely no judgement or pressure which I hugely appreciated. I’d recommend this practice to anyone who’s nervous, the staff are super and I’m actually looking forward to my treatment rather than tearing my hair out.

I first visited Balham Dental Studio when my dentist let me down and i needed to be seen urgently, I gave Balham Dental a call and there were able to see me at short notice, which i was happy about. The dentist explained everything about my treatment very clearly and the end result was great.Relaxing atmosphere when you walk in, very nice renovation and the team on reception are lovely and accommodating.

I recommended this place to everyone who had traumatic experiences with dentists in the past and to everyone who values high quality and reliability. 100% recommend!:) and the girl at the front extremely helpful and very pretty.

Everyone at the practice was very pleasant. The place was spotlessly clean. My appointment was for 2pm and I was in a chair by 2:08.The Doctor was gentle and explained everything she did. Her assistant and radiologist was as gentle as possible with the X-ray slides and super quick. No selling of unnecessary procedures - just a gentle reminder that I should come back ideally in 6 months - 1 year.I’d recommend them 💯 and I will be back.

Dental Bonding, also known as composite resin bonding, is a technique that adds resin material to your teeth to alter or supplement their shape.
Composite bonding is a very good option for closing small gaps between teeth. Either for a single gap or multiple small gaps between all the teeth, you can achieve amazing results with bonding. However, if the gap is too big, the dentist might consider a quick orthodontic treatment before going with the bonding, to avoid extremely big or disproportional teeth.
Composite bonding can help to improve the appearance of slightly crooked teeth. By adding some resin in strategic places, your dentist can hide or mask misaligned teeth, improving the appearance of your smile. However, please do keep in mind that it is only possible to correct minor position problems with composite bonding. When teeth are more severely misaligned, we would recommend an orthodontic treatment prior to bonding.
When it comes to caring for your bonded teeth, you should continue your regular oral routine and regular check-ups and cleans. In its nature your bonding is minimally invasive and inherently the material may be more prone to chipping or discolouration. You can extend its lifespan with a healthy lifestyle and proper oral care habits: grinding, nail biting, acids, sugar, lack of oral hygiene, will effect the longevity of bonded composites.
Potential downsides of bonding may include: • Material less stain-resistant than other solutions • Lifespan is often shorter than the alternatives
